2012 is hours away people,at least in Jakarta it is :P . So my 2011 has some ups and downs,went to Bali during my summer vacay and before that I had the most AMAZING party with my friends and i do mean AMAZING. The down part was I lost my dad on May Friday the 13th,yeah my luck couldn’t get any worse than that,he died due to liver damage. I miss him a lot but I know he’s watching over me up there.
Anyway back to reality,so I just got back from a hiking trip in Sebesi island a.k.a baby Krakatoa and it was just epic,the best hiking trip to date!! I climbed down a drained waterfall,actually it was more like river rapids but with heights of 3-5m,with no gear!! yeah I have a fear of heights and it feels awesome now that I overcame it a lil bit. Planning to go to the other baby Krakatoa a.k.a Sebuku island on March,it’s gonna be a more extreme trip as much less people live there and the forest is more dense so i’ll be seeing a lot of komodo and wild pigs and maybe tigers and snakes. Anyway I’m so excited!!
The other down part of 2011 is that my grades went down so drastically and i don’t know why cos I studied so hard,I almost gave up on maths and chemist but someone reminded me giving up is worse than losing in a game. So I don’t think I’m gonna give up just yet,I gotta beat maths and chemistry in their own game B)
So I’ve made my new years resolutions but I’m very bad at keeping it,lol. But still it’ll be fun to try :P Okay so lets start:
1st is improving myself (not gonna tell y’all the details,sorry)
2nd is improving my damn grades,ur going down maths and chem >:)
3rd is learning Mandarin and Spanish (mandarin is a definite yes cos my mom is forcing me to and I just wanna learn Spanish )
4th is less staying in front of the tv and laptop,it’s a waste of time seriously,and I didn’t even realized it. Sorry tumblr,ur excellent for leisure but ur a dead end to my grades.
5th is the most hardest and a lil bit impossible,i’m gonna try to save my pocket money and not spend on it,maybe I should buy one of those large piggy bank where u have to break it to get the bling ;) ,then i wont take any that I saved already
Okay so that’s my new years resolutions,hopefully I’ll be able to keep it this time.
I’m kinda excited about 2012,u know,a new year means a new chance to start over. But also kinda worried about that stupid doomsday rumors,I don’t believe in it but after the disasters thats been going on worldwide throughout the year,yeah u know people,including me, are wondering if the rumor’s true or not. Anyway,we should just get on with our lives like usual but don’t forget to do ur part to save our mother earth. ;)
